Wayne Larsen and Kevin Johnson have been meeting with and working with Meridian Parks and Recreation to get more pickleball courts at Settlers Park (on the corner of N. Meridian Road and W. Ustick Lane).
They succeeded in getting permission to tape two of the existing tennis courts with pickleball lines.
An enthusiastic group of nearly 30 (!) players showed up EARLY on Wednesday morning to help tape the courts.
And before the tape was completely put down, players were playing on the new-to-pickleball courts!
